Projection mapping and pixel-mapping redefined the video industry’s capacity and highlighted a new set of specialist skills for production managers/clients.

Transition Video came to market with the equipment, from large scale projectors to media servers, and the experienced operators to deliver acclaimed projection mapping projects across the UK and Europe.

Consistent training and acquisition of technology means Transition can supply custom structures and rigging solutions for the most demanding configurations in-house, where we have full design and test facilities.

Below are some examples of work. To the left is the new iicon stage at block 9 - Glastonbury. Transition were drafted in to supply the creative LED screen which was flown on its side on a 45 degree angle. The LED screen was the centre piece filling the visor of the virtual reality head set.

In the centre is a photo from Ed Sheerans' Divide world tour. Transition were contacted by Moment Factory in Canada to produce a content shoot at Malcolm Ryan Studios in London. Ed played a number of tracks whilst images were projected onto his white shirt. The final outcome on the custom LED screens looked phenomenal.

To the right is The Temple stage at Glastonbury Festival. The three dimensional mayan head structure is 40m wide and 8m tall, Transition supplied 5 x Panasonic DZ21k 20,000 ANSI video projectors and the set was projection mapped using an Avolites Ai Media server, video content was supplied by Limbic Cinema.
